Stuart, they are not taking actual orders yet, I am sure dealers might take "pre-orders" to hold a spot though...They are due out mid-late next year, along with the converts I believe. I can tell you that these pictures do not do the car justice, it is so low, and so wide, something these pictures just don't capture....and the sound..oh my god...the sound.....There is nothing for the price that will even come close to this car. Wish I could afford one....

Found the pics on another site. Very nice! Do I have to sell my soul, or will they accept trade-ins? :p

Looking forward to seeing these out there, and I'm looking forward to an even cheaper nice used 2003-2004 Z06 for a daily driver.

As aorvette nut I am buying one next fall. My friend owners one of the local Chevy delaerships that moves a lot of vettes and has one ear marked for me. I have been following the design and build for over one year. The car is going to be sick!! I am going to Detriot in January to see it up close at the autoshow. Car is suppose to have an aluminum frame, 335 rear tires, 6 piston Brembo brakes, titanium valve train parts. 500hp/470 ft.lbs with a 7K redline!!!! Still won't keep up with my 632 hp 99' C5 but that won't take long with some ported heads and cam......I'm sick!

Yes indeed C5 Z06's are going to be reasonably priced in the not to distant future. Cool.
