Anyone used Rear Coil Overs with stock lower shock mounts? GM A Body

Has anyone used Rear Coil Overs with stock lower shock mounts? I know an upper mount will need to be fabricated but is it possible to use the stock lower shock mount? If so, what length coil overs did you use? Car is a 72 442
