Default 5 speed in a 78 ta

I have a 78 golden anniversary ta that I've owned since I was 16 I own a shop and build all kinds of cars mostely to sell but this is the one car I'll never sell, its a 400 4spd completely loaded I havent done much checking but this thing is very rare, so I want to start driving it more so I'm thinking of putting a 5spd in it but I dont want to cut this thing up, I want to keep a mechanical clutch with the stock pedals and try to keep the linkage in the same spot does anyone have any ideas how or who makes a setup for this? thanks telly

I would think a Richmond Gear 5-speed should do the trick quite easily as it will bolt to your stock bell housing.

Shiny Side Up!

I put that same LT1-style 6-speed in my 2nd gen and it's my favorite modification to date. Not that difficult either. If you already have the trans I'd say your choice is a no-brainer.
