I agree with Marcus but reality causes compromise. I like KYB for daily driver type shock that is better than the auto parts store stuff. I did a friends 66 Chevelle with the KYB Gas adjust units up front and GR2s in the back. The gas adjust units have firmer valving and are to stiff out back and make the rear end choppy. This car has poly bushings, second gen camero spindles and brake conversion with trans am 32mm front sway bar and a stock rear bar and the shocks work good with this daily driver package. I also have a set on my lowered 1993 c1500 and I have 100k plus miles on that set of KYBs and they are still going strong.
