John left due to personal issues. As we all know covans classic has been a bit behind on the c/s of things and some say quality as well. When John was back on his feet he felt his name/product was not what is should be and parted ways. Hence Thunder road. Who can blame the guy.

Wow just got a personal phone call from John himself after leaving a message on his website.

They sell the 1969 Camaro Panel without gauges for $239 and it includes the steering column cover. He said it can easily be cut for 5" Gauges as well. Definitely going to add this to the list of things to add to my build...

Gotta love a phone call back within 10 minutes of sending an e-mail.

Default Support Covanthunderroad

I am still really satisfied with everything regarding covanthunderroad.

I called them couple of days ago, because i didnt have the driven gear case that would connect my TH350 with the Autometer Speedometer Electric unit.

They had the case and clamp but didnt have the driven gear, but John offered to go to Classics and get it for me. I was asking for a favour and getting me a convertor cover as well.

Now he goes and collects things for me and sends everything over. For me, located in Germany, it is such a fantastic situation that a company says "we have the adapter but not the driven gear, but whatever you need from classic we get it for you and we gonna send everything in one box".

that saves $$$ because jegs, classics and summit take handling charges for intl orders and they prefer UPS, so shipping is overly costly compared to USPS ....

it is just GREAT to have such a support from John and Kyle Covan.
