BTW --

Before any of you get any "ideas" about what I wrote earlier....

The HOUSE I bought in 1987 -- was $177,000.... That's right... One hundred Seventy Seven Thousand....

MSFT went public in 1986.... and the stock in '87 was "no big deal" (YET!) and it went up about 6000 PERCENT.... that would be AFTER I sold some...

Now, where's that dang crystal ball I was looking for....

hello frank,

i attempted to contact you via phone this evening and i received your voice mail and the statement about returning from vegas and having a 100 emails and 100 voice mails to return. - so i wished not to add to them but if you would be so kind as to post a time that would good for me to contact you via phone- I thank you

the issue i wish to chat about is project management and insight and guidance - to put it another way - its not an issue of national security- and whenever is doable for you i shall make whatever time concessions need to be made.

thank you

Frank, glad to hear that everything is working out ok with this transaction and that maybe it will work out to more business in the future. Empty Nest was definitely a well built car. I was impressed when I saw it at Columbus in 2008.

Regarding emissions: My dad lives in Vegas and when my 69 El Camino belonged to him he had to jump through all kinds of hoops to get it to pass emissions. For instance, it has a 454 but no smog pump. All factory emissions components are required for whatever engine is installed so he would have had to add one. However, the 396 equipped El Camino did NOT have a smog pump.

When the car came from Vegas to Sacramento I scratched my head over why he put a 396 sticker on the air cleaner for a solid half hour before calling him and asking. They smog techs don't bother with engine numbers, the sticker was good enough and it passed every time.
