That does appear to be the exact same handle. I've seen it on plenty of GM cars recently. Gotta love the General's parts bin.

A few questions about the execution of the handle, did you find a donor door with a metal skin, to graft into the original door, or did you build the bucket yourself? Did you use the original door latches, or adapt a more modern latch?

We made the bucket to hold the handle.
We just adapted the metal rod to the handle and use stock latches

The donor doors were metal, I cut out obout 2-3 inches extra around the handles to give me plenty to trim and work with as needed.....But the same as Pete I will alter/adapt the metal rod to work and I am using the stock latches!
