Unhappy Do you think I hurt the transmission?

I was test driving the car and long story short, the slip yoke u joint must have lost the clip, losing the cap, causing the u joint to beat around the slip yoke. I was going about 15-20 mph preparing to make a turn onto my street. The bell housing is cracked. The bell housing was a cheap 621 repop that I bought a couple of years ago. Like the title says, did I hurt the tranny? It is a TKO 600. Car has about 33 miles on it. I removed the trans, installed a new bell housing, inspected and reinstalled the trans. The car shifts thru all the gears on jack stands. Do you think it is safe to continue shake down runs?

Yeah, I guess I was afraid that if a tail shaft bearing was wiped, it might do more damage. Anymore thoughts?
