Default Need help 6 speed for an LS3 in an F-Body

Looking for some input on 6 speed tranny choices to mate with an LS3 that's going into a 69 F-Body. Need pretty much everything from the Flywheel to Yoke.
I want to stick with a 6 speed but have read different things concerning the T-56. Shifter is located too far back and so on.
Any good sources to purchase a 6 speed or Brand to look for? Trying to save a few headaches when it's time to drop it in.
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks Marc

Marc the read this sticky - https://lateral-g.net/tech_articles/ats_t56_install/ If your doing it yourself and need the blueprint for the clutch slave cylinder bracket let me know I have one. I have a few pics on my signature link that might help. I wish I documented as much back then as I do now then there would be alot more usefull pics.
I'm sure someone much more qualified than myself will chime in.Let me know if You need pics, my car is on my lift and kind of apart now.

As far as the shifter being located too far back, keisler engineering makes kits to move the shifter to any position you want. You could probably contact them about some of your other issues also.

If you need everything I would suggest speaking with Keisler also. Kit looks very complete. The Perfect Fit kit looks like it puts shifter in right spot

Thanks for the input guys.
Anyone have any comments or used the TR6060 trans yet. Know if it's a P.I.T.A. to deal with / install in an F-Body?
Again, Thanks for any replys.

i could be wrong but i think a tr6060 is a little bigger than a t-56 so there might be clearence issues. I'm putting a tr6060/ls1 in my 68 within a month so i'll let you know what it takes to put one in. Good luck

A little further research is telling me that I face 2 issues with using the TR6060 in a 69 Camaro. First is the Shfter location and second is the Yoke / Drive Shaft mounting point.
Keisler, does offer a complete kit but at $3,675. It's a bit steep for me as a one shot deal. Probably end up spending that amount anyway to get the TR6060 to work. Can't these mods ever be affordable? I know the answer to that but wanna whine a bit anyway.

I have a f-body T-56 for sale with a couple thousand miles on it.. it will bolt right up to an LS3 with no hassle.

$1000 plus shipping..

Then just buy the install kit from Keisler.. It's not a refined as the Magnum but it will be nearly $2k cheaper.
