I bought those same mirrors on ebay about 2 months ago. Alot more compact than the C5. Glad to see what they will look like installed. Thanks
Now was the insatll easy? Did you just trim the bases of the mirrors to match the door? How did you trim them, or what with, to get it to match the door?
Wow. That looks really nice. I love the stance, the way the firewall was done, mirrors, flush mount glass... the list goes on and on... Great work, man. I was also interested in how to flush the glass, and where you got those seals... I've been tossing this idea around for awhile, but I'm just not to that point yet. Awesome car, man.
The mirrors are from a 99 Buick lasaber. There are five different gm cars that use this mirror I have a list of them I can get latter. I think they look way better than the C5 stuff much smaller. I don’t know why know one else has used them yet.
Did you have to modify the base to get it to fit? I saw a Lesabre on the highway tonight and it looks (at 60mph at least) like the mounting surface on the Camaro is a lot closer to vertical than on the Buick.
You can read all about the suspension In PHR I believe it is the May edition. Check out the 1 G suspension I built in my driveway article. This is on John parsons car IImuch, But my car has the same exact setup that was widened by the designer Katz to fit in my car. I machined most of the parts for Johns set up and made all of the parts for my car.
Hello Brian!!
What a privilege to "meet" you. I have been huge fan of Johns nova and think hes front suspension is one of the best i have ever seen. Those billet components really gave me a punch for my own project. So it was you who machined them!!!! !!!
Could you show your billet stuff more? Its really intresting!!
