I agree with Todd & Scott, the connectors are the least of your worries as far as comfort goes in the back seat, pad it up and call it good.

You guys are right I am thinking too much about this area but I want to do it correct the first time and not move backwards.

Thanks Todd. I have bought the DSE connects. They are not installed just yet. We are working on the back half of the car at the moment.
