I own a video production company. My primary role is post production (editing, graphics, animation), but we all do a little bit of everything. It's a fun job that constantly evolves, but deadlines can get a little crazy.
On a side note, my Camaro project did somewhat inspire me to start my own business...
I was working on the car one day and messed up a replacement panel I had bought (can't remember what)...and man, did I get angry. I was mad at myself for messing it up, mad that I was worried about the cost of it and mad that I would never finish this endless project on my small salary. I clearly remember sitting on the curb, staring at the car and thinking "something has to change."
Of course that wasn't the only reason, but it was definitely a factor in the decision to quit my job and take a chance...thankfully, it has worked out pretty well so that car will always mean a lot to me.
