Default Suggestion for 9" carrier

Bought a chassis from a board member recently and it comes with a 9" rear end (less carrier). I have never dealt with Fords before but I think I have figure out what carrier to buy. The car is a70 GTO which will be mainly street driven with an approx. 550 hp LS3 and T56. The details are:

Stock 9'' Complete 3rd Member - Assembled
Grey Iron Case
3.89 Gear Ratio
True Trac Differential
Reconditioned 3rd Member Case
Pinion Support
31 Spline
1330 Series Short Yoke
Timken Bearings
National Oil Seals

What do you think? Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Not sure what you are asking? You say you have a True Trac that would be a helical gear limited slip carrier.

If you have a third member assembled with the above listed parts it sounds like you are ready to go. That set up will handle 550+ hp on street tires and the true trac is a great carrier for street and road courses.

Did you mean you have a third member but no housing?

Sounds like he is asking if that is a good set up.

Accelerating is optional...........stopping is mandatory. Your car WILL stop one way or another.

Guess it depends on the price
I would upgrade to a 1350 yoke
might look at a NEW case. rather than reconditioned.
