Notice that they are using a tapered cutter for strength and ridgitity and the software allows for that and the walls are straight.....Pretty Cool!!

Here are some parts we make at the shop......D-2 Tool steel hardened to 60 Rc..........look at the chips fly......Just like machining Aluminum.....we can make a dozen of them and hold size w/in .0002

So could I. This also explains why billet wheels and auto parts aren't cheap. Just take a look at that billet LS block Katech sells for $10k.
