It is if they make it affordable, and offer it in stripped down models and with a V6 for those who can't afford insurance on a V8, or need power-everything and leather etc...

I totally agree with Derek. This car has to be affordable or it will suffer the same demise as the current GTO. It also has to appeal to a young market that cares little about the Camaro heritage and is only looking for a cool, relatively cheap, ride.

I always thought the reason why Mustangs were so popular was because it attracted so many woman buyers. I see way more V6s and 'vert' Stangs with a gal behind the wheel.

As long as they also offer a barebones, no frills version with a pavement curling drivetrain under $25K, we'll be all set!!

+1 to the above statements, assuming they don't make any drastic changes between the concept and the production car, I don't think it will be a problem .
