Default Inner Quarter and Inner Fender Colors?

I am trying to decide what to do (color) with my inner quarters and inner fenders. Splatter paint, black, body color (which will be gold)?

Any suggestions and pics would be appreciated.

Let me say it another way...Before welding on my new NOS quarters what should I use to spray the inner portion of the quarter? Also on the inner side of the fenders before putting them on? Black, body color...

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Ron,
Well, mine was e-coated after it was welded on. Typically most use epoxy primer after they weld it on.
As an extra preventative measure, we used single stage body color on all the inner quarters inner fenders, floor pans etc. I had splatter paint in the past, and you had to spray clear coat over it. Single stage has the clear coat built in, so for me that was best decision. I have owned my 67 RS Camaro for almost 30 years, and we had painted the NOS fenders (inside) and NOS hood (underneath). No issues.

Jeff

Did you paint your trunk body color also? What color? I have not decided on a shade of body gold color. I guess I should find a color soon.

Trunk is body color, but it is was for primary to protect the sheet metal. I plan to have custom interior and trunk will have audio equipment.
