Interesting work on the hood. I'll be curious to see how that all works out.

Love the color now you need to refinish the wheels to match.

I'm all about the blue so of course I'll agree that LeMans blue is a good choice. I like the hood too. Where did you source the scoop?

That was the one on the old hood, which was taken off a true cowl sometime in late 70's or 80's. My friend who did the paint in round one, older dude (somewhat losing it, dementia maybe...) had NO primer or paint under the cowl and hood, raw metal for 10 years, i saw no rust trails when i washed it or drove it in the rain, that was probably my biggest disappointment with the "workmanship" (the 7/16 of bondo in two spots wasn't exactly a good surprise) on the previous paint job. But, you get what you pay for (in this case, 11,000$ worth of trade and a 9 year wait, hey what are friends for).

You may be thinking what i'm thinking. Maybe not the same "color", but i've got something up my sleeve(less t shirt)
