Default For the musicians out there

I don't know if there are any musicians around here, I'd just like to know, if any of you guys play in a band or something, what do you play, what kind of music, what rig do you have?

I play the bass guitar in a alternative rock band, this Ibanez GSR200

trough a Line 6 M9 stompbox modeler (digiatl effects)

to end up sounding on a baddas Acoustic B200 MKII (200 Watts, badass)

I'm planning on getting a Fender Jazz Bass V, and well a lot of other cool instruments.

I know this ain't a music forum, but I'm curious.

I just sold my last Guitar (Gibson SG) as I have a Neck Injury & can't feel the fingers on my Left Hand. I can use them, but playing Guitar was frustraing to say the least.

I just picked up a Customized Fender Jazz Bass & Marshall Amp. Trying to learn a new instrument

You're gonna have fun with that setup, pretty simple and a fun instrument to play with, very versatile, and slapping one of those, well that feels awesome. Slap the devil out of it.

I am a pianist, or keyboardist to the younger folks. I have had a little of everything, from a Roland Phantom to a Korg. Just got rid of my Motif xs8, and picked up a Yamaha CP300 stage. I play piano at church mostly, and an occasional outreach venture.
Cool setup you have there!

I play the radio. Dam fine instrument.

Seriously though, my middle child (21) is musician, teaches and been out on tour a few times. Now taken recording arts at Chico state. So yes, i've had to buy my share of equipment, but man i wish i could play.
