I too hope you continue to work on the car. Use whatever motivation you can to bring this to completion.

I love your idea about extending the lower dash and angling it back. That would definitely help with hiding the bottom of a Gen IV evaporator and the A/C tubing. And it wouldn't look "tacked on".
