So not a whole lot has happened of late. Been really busy with work but I have some time off over the xmas break and I plan to get a fair bit done!

I also got stung pretty hard by an importer who was bringing in parts for me. Had around $4000 worth go missing. Turns out he didn't put the insurance on that I payed for, etc etc etc. In the end I got $2000 out of him when I started using words like lawyer and customs audit. Mike from AES Racing done me a super awesome deal on the parts that were lost and I'm only 'down' around $800. It kind of dampened my mood on the project a bit but i'm in better spirits now!

There's my engine and the cute little air pumps.

There's some chassis work we've done. Trying to tie the TCI PT rear clip to the front one effectively. While also covering up some careless jacking from previous owners. In Australia we can't really cut out chassis and replace like you guys. Sorta...

I'm also looking at wheels at the moment. 18x10 Front & Rear. Around +5 offset on the front and -20ish on the back. Weld RT-S S71 with the black face.

And maybe a set of Cragar D-Window 17x9's for the circuit. Not sure yet. I'd rather wreck a $100 rim than a $600 rim on the track.

I also bought a car. For Dad with his money of course. Something he can cruise around and have fun in when back home from work O/S.

73 Z28 with RS pack. Genuine. Everything matches up. Sorta.... Has an LQ9 + gm hot cam kit, manifold and carb. 475ish hp going by all the hot cam/carb write ups.. Rebuilt by owner/mast motorsports.

Got some work done. Stupid few days to do it though. Been 111 degrees outside the shed, dunno what it's been inside. Bloody hot.

You have a sweet project going on here. Glad you got help to take the sting out of the lost parts. Looking forward to seeing more of this build.

Wedge seat brackets/sliders turned up. Pretty happy with them. Not 100% fit, but darn close enough. Will have to drill 2 holes. But they sit center and flat. Put the seats in, wheel back on, had a seat. Feels good

Also tunnel is done on top, don't have photos finished. Still have to finish underneath and then paint it all.

Selling T56/shifter. Ordering a T56 Magnum Level 6 from RPM. SFI bellhousing, black powdercoat, oil sprayers & pump. May as well do it now..

Nice work!! keep the pics coming... I noticed that you used galvanized steel for the tunnel, do be careful welding it can be very dangerous...

LOL - Sr year of High School I learned all about welding galvanized steel. Not good. Lots of pretty smoke.
