Yeah I wouldn't mind seeing more of what's happening.

Sorry guys we have just been so busy at the shop I keep telling myself that im going to take a few minutes and through some stuff up, but it seems to never happen. I also need to make a few other build threads or just one big one of some other really cool projects happening in the shop.

We are in the final push on the 67' Just trying to get everything finalized and fabbed up before we blow it apart for paint We have made a few changes in some areas but getting very close. The goal is to have the shell done and ready for assembly before we leave for SEMA. I better get back to work.....

Finished up all of the brake lines. Will be nice to have a lot of this pre fab done so when it comes time to assemble it should go together pretty nice.

Also we did a slight radiator support mod for the C&R radiator.

Punched and flared both halves and welded all of the joints together so that it would look the same front and back and have that stamped look.

Also went around the perimeter of the opening with some 1/8x1/2 to strengthen the opening.

We have also done a ton of work to the inner fenders/fenders to get them to fit 275/35/18 BFG Rivals and still be able to run the car low without rubbing under all conditions. I will add up a few more photos of what we did. The inner fender still comes down the side of the fender and locks into the rolled lip along with a few of the factory bolt holes. Just in case the tire does rub the outer fender it will still have something to protect it from damaging the outside of the fender.

I will have some more updates soon on this car along with all of the other projects in the works at the shop.

Looking good Paul.

Maybe just start a project thread that represents the shop and post random projects updates as time allows? Being less formal should take less energy and make it quicker to post updates.

A little is better than nothing.

great work Paul,

I know how long it took you to get that inner fender done right. Plumbing is great too.

Default What's up at Dutchboys

Great stuff Paul ! Yes, maybe you guys could do like Ironworks and just post up current projects every so often. All the stock subframe guys are drooling to find out more detail on the fender mods to fit the 275s up front. Also, that radiator is exactly the one I am looking at. Any more info. on the core support changes is also greatly appreciated. Hope you got your fenders shipped out of Phoenix OK.

Scott

They are using U-pol Raptor. Paul sprayed my 68 Camaro with Raptor a few years ago. IMO Raptor has a nicer finished look than other bed liners I've seen. I'm not sure if they are doing any type of custom mix or if it's straight out of the can though.

I agree it goes on flatter and has a slight gloss to it.

Thanks for all of the positive comments guys!

Hope everyone has a Happy Thanksgiving.

The customers Birthday is today. What better than being able to show him a short clip of the car getting sprayed!

Jason is correct, We are using the Raptor bed liner, We really like using the Raptor, It doesn't go on too thick and isn't really flat.
