So here's my take as I have used the Snap-on and the Wurth version of both of these.
First depending on what you are trying to take off go slow and do NOT over heat any of these tools you will kill it!!
When I had the shop we went through two Snap-ons one was bought used off of CL lasted about 6 months. So ok must have been used hard before I got it (nope it was brand new) so my Snap-on dealer got me another one, yup 6 months and done.
Now the Wurth model in the collision shop lasted about 5 years, BUT (there's always a BUT) we only really used it to remove tape stipes and caulking from cars.
