Default NO STYLE Corolla, but it's kinda Pro Touring

Hello, my name is Mark, and his is my Corolla. It's been around the internet the last couple years, so maybe some of you have already seen it.
For those who haven't, here's the summary: it's got a full custom chassis on Lexus SC400 front and rear suspension; 4 liter Lexus V8 with a supercharger off a Cobra Mustang; T-56 trans from an LT-1 Camaro. All the work was done by me, in my garage.

I like to autocross, do track days, and shred GMR as often as possible. It is NOT a show car--I beat on it as hard and as possible. The car is a blast to drive.

Anyway, I'm glad I found this forum. Lots of cool people and interesting cars (I've been lurking for a while).

I like it.....a lot!

My AutoX car from the early 80's, adjustable camber plates, TRD springs and bars, midget 2TC bored, decked, ported, TRD cam, pistons, header, and a pair of Weber 40 DCOE's......only Corolla I knew at the time that was good for 140 mph indicated.....LOL.

Been following your car for a couple of years. I am right over by you in Ventura County. I have a couple of buddies over by you that see the car from time to time and report back to me.

We just used a 1U into a 88 Murkur XR4Ti and got it BAR certified. I am putting a 1U VVTi into my 73 Nova. And am looking for a early 1U to put into a Toyota truck for a daily driver.

Love your car. Fantastic job!

Jake

Glad you joined. I saw your car at the NMCA Hotchkis autocross and loved it!

This car is way more hardcore looking in real life. The pics make it look tamer than reality in my opinion!

Thanks a lot.

Somebody recently showed me your Camaro. I did a little searching I found that you were doing your Camaro at almost exactly the same time I was doing the Corolla. Weird how similar they are, isn't it?

And I really like that Celica.
