Blinker not blinking

I have a AAW Power Plus 20 wiring harness in my 69 firebird project. My headlights work fine, the motor runs fine, etc. I am going to use the front turn signal-parking light area for a brake cooling duct opening, so I purchased a set of halogen headlights with LED turn signals in them. When the turn signal is supposed to be on (GM Tilt rebuilt column) I have 12 volts and the turn signal comes on, but doesn't blink. Thoughts?

the LED light has no load on the wiring system to run the flasher, you will need a no load flasher that is grounded and then they will work

Can I get one that will replace the 2-prong flashers I have in my AAW fuse block?

Yes, but do not buy a "no load" flasher that does not have a ground wire as they usually do not work.

You may have to repin the terminals on the fuse block as the flasher is polarity sensitive.

I have 2 no-load polarity independent flashers with ground wires. I installed them and ran the ground wires. The flasher works, but you can barely see the turn signal LEDs light up and blink. The turn signal has a ground, and a high and low wire. For testing I combined the high and low with a spade terminal and connected it to the turn signal wire. Thoughts?

I don't know exactly which unit that you purchased, but I looked at some of these while building my car. On the units that I looked at, the "low" wire was for running lights only, and the "high" wire was for the turn signal function.

Yes, the lights have a low, high, and ground wire. I wasn't sure how to hook up the high, and low, but I guess the low wire goes to the running light wire? During testing I was just touching the ground wire to a ground on the bumper bolt....maybe I have a weak light because of a weak ground?
