Default 6 point seat belt mounting advice

I will be running Schroth 6 point belts when my Volvo P1800 sees track days but I have a question. The dual lower belt that go under my body will need an attachment point. The guy that put in my cage said to tie a cross bar into the seat brackets. I used some 1/8" flat stock and 1/2" solid round rod to fabricate a mount for the belts to clip to. Do you guys think this will be strong enough for the purpose?

Here is a picture of the piece attached to the seat. Thanks for the help!

If you got in an accident and the seat mounting points sheared off the seat belt mounting point your showing would lift with the seat . I would attach it to the body/floor. Just my opinion.

I have decided to add a seat belt harness hole to the bottom of my seat and run the harness the way it is designed. Just makes me feel better and Tracy at The Recovery Room can make it look pretty.
