GM also didn't design either one of those cars for sustained high rpm track use. There's a reason why they went to a dry sump for the Z06, ZR-1, and Z/28.
Current and previous generation CTSV and ZL1 had same criteria for track usage that Z06, ZR1 and Z28 as part of their Vehicle Technical Specifications.
True , guess we're getting away from the op question of using them for forged pistons . The answer is yes most certainly use them wouldn't do any harm . My question would be are they worth the cost of machining and putting them in and how much would the machine works cost roughly
