Default Dorman tail light socket wiring?

Does anybody know which wire is dim and which is bright for Dorman replacement tail light sockets that I have for my 69 firebird? There is a black and a white wire. I was told by AAW that one should be bright and one dim and running lights and brake lights require a certain wire. Even Dorman couldn't tell me.

You can easily figure it out yourself.

Both wires take 12v power. So stick a bulb in, put the socket to ground, and power up each wire. The dimmer filament is the tail light, brighter filament is the turn signal.
