Default New Posts\Today's Post question

I use the Today's posts link almost exclusively to find the latest threads with posts to read when I visit here. Ever since the software update though, I have noticed something different.

Only threads with "new" posts show up in the search. Once I've clicked on a thread link and view it, the next time I click Today's posts again...that thread does not show up in a search.

Is there a setting or a different way for me to find the threads with the latest posts in them whether I've already read the new posts in them or not?

We're working on a solution, has to be a bug or something in the update process.

Same thing happened at Garage Journal after the latest update.
