Default Helmet suppliers near St. Louis

I'm in the market for a SA2010 helmet, for autocross and roadcourse events. First time buying a helmet, so I'd really like to go somewhere with a decent selection to try them on before picking one. Is there anyone in/around St. Louis?

Mike

Default Helmet

There used to be a racing chasis shop in Fenton across from where the truck plant was. I purchased my cage and helmet there a few years ago, I did a quick search online and can't find the place or maybe they have changed names or closed. I bought another helmet for racing at a motorcycle shop last time around that met specs.

St Louis Race Gear http://chartauto.com/stlracegear/

Never been there but they sound legit and should have a decent selection for you to try on.

Get a 2015, most of the 2010 Stock is gone as the 15s have been out for almost 3 years. by getting a 2015, you will be able to use it 5 more years than the 2010

Appreciate it! Called over there, and it sounds like they mainly carry RaceQuip in stock, but can order Bell and Simpson. I'll head over there and check it out.

Thanks for the tip...will definitely go with a 2015.

Noob question - do they update the ratings every 5 years?

Yeah, approximately every five years. The 2015s were late coming out.
