Default 2gen DSE frame front wheel BS

Hey I have a 73 camaro with a DSE front sub frame. I’m going to run 18x10 wheels with a 275/35 tire. I know DSE recommends a 18x10 with 6.125 inches of back spacing. I just wanted to double check that is what fits best. I have seen a couple post (1 by Rocket Wheels that says they have run a 1/4” spacer). Hope to have them chime in. Thanks in advance. Bill

Not exactly the answer you are looking for but close. DSE...Forgeline 18x11 with 5" BS and a 315...lends about 3/4" clearance to the frame at lock.

Thank you. That makes me think that at 6.125 backspacing is another 1.125 that I would be hitting the frame. Does that sound right? Bill
