Default Seatbelt time...Morris, Seatbeltplanet, ?

My 71 needs seatbelts. For now, I'm only talking about the front. I have aftermarket Recaro seats. When I bought the car, it came with some unknown aftermarket 3 point retracting belt set up which no longer fits near the sill area. The retractor housing is too large to go next the knob that adjusts the seatback. The bracket has an odd angle and they're beat up anyhow.

I'd like some opinions on what you guys went with and if it worked out. Only thing I've been able to come up with is that the retractors are very sensitive on some.

I wish they didn't mount where they do next to the seat, but I don't see another option in a kit form.

FWIW, on my 68 Camaro with TMI Pro-Chicane seats, I went with Morris and have been happy. My TMI seats have the large recline knob near the door sill area and the belt retractors fit fine.

Call Morris, they were very helpful with my questions prior to purchase.

I have a set of the Morris belts in my 69 Camaro. They fit tight but they do fit. They're a little touchy when you go to put them on you just have to go slow or they'll lock which I don't mind seeing as they let me know they work fine.I have a seat similar to yours and I'm happy with the entire set-up...

I used Seatbelt Planet in the wifes FJ. Other than the sensitivity when pulling them out (same as others are saying) they work great.
