If Jim thinks Golden Star is trash he should have a go at some Goodmark fenders...

FWIW virtually all repop sheet metal needs massaging including a little cutting and welding. And pretty much all of it is lighter gauge than original sheet metal.

Hey Don,

It was a 68. The main complaint was about how thin it was. I’ve heard similar complaints from others on just about every supplier out there. Guess it’s proof they just don’t make them like they used to.

Thanks for the input everyone. I’m still looking around and I see classic industries has some body panels marked “made in the USA” and significantly marked up on price. Does anybody know much about these parts? Are they actually made here, or is the weld thru primer sprayed on stateside and they label it “made in the USA”?

I contacted Matt’s classic bow tie maybe two weeks ago for a quote with shipping. Radio silence from them, I get weird about having to chase down people or companies to take my money for their products. Probably will just try to pick and choose what I can get from classic industries since they are 20 miles away and they sell some AMD panels.

I have purchased a few AMD items. they are top notch.

Disclaimer, I own a Ford, lol, but the quality is very nice and I buy them direct.
