Default Multi tool belt grinder mod~Trick Tools

I bought the Multi Tool from Trick Tools about a month ago. It's a real nice unit that's reasonably priced. I already had an old Craftsman grinder so I only bought the basic kit and some extra abrasives.

I was very pleased with the price, customer service and quick shipping from Trick Tools.

I wanted to be able to quickly move the belt arm up from the lowered position so I made an internal .1875" x 4.125 piece to allow that. Because I used my Craftsman grinder I needed to also make an outer adapter to move the arm out .750".

The arm now moves with a little resistance where I want without loosening bolts.

First piece is the outer grinder adapter (black)

Second piece is the internal plate to allow arm movement without loosening bolts. (bare metal)

Third is the belt arm swiveled up

Fourth is the lower belt position

Last is what came in the box minus the disc abrasives and outer plate. It comes with a belt and a disc abrasive.

Jody, it is a nice addition. A world of difference over my old Ryobi 4x36
