Default Tick clutch master kit in 1st gen Camaro

Has anyone used this and do I still need to get the adapter from DSE for my DSE firewall bracket? I am ready to figure out what I need and I thought I read where I need the adapter block that goes with the bracket. Not sure I really need the Tick kit if I am replacing the block. Maybe just find a 7/8 tilton set up.
Thanks

why mess with Tick when McLeod makes the entire kit with everything you need for your car?

71 corvette t56 here, should be similar but I wanted to stay as gm as possible. Tick stage 2 rebuild with cryo treatment, used tick throwout bearing shims, 87 gm truck master, Ls7 LUK clutch and slave. Clutch is so fine! Easy pressure but great feel, even the dyno guy commented on it. Stock 04 gto motor. 355hp on the dyno.

All you will need is the firewall bracket from DSE or similar.

First I have a brand new DSE bracket you can have it for 25 bucks. I only used it for Moc up.

that said ... i used this.. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/HLY-319-200

It worked flawlessly and without the problems you see in reviews about the Mc cloyd (see youtube for one example)

Footnote.. if you going to do this mod I highly recommend you mocking it all up with the petals and bracket out of the car.. get all your geometry set.. then weld it all up.. (bracket to firewall and mounting tab on clutch petal)

Hi Just wondering if you used the supplied u bolt to secure the clutch master. looks like i need to open up the DSE fire wall bracket holes to fit the size of the u bolt. aslo does it just go through the clutch master then the dse bracket then firewall and bolt on the inside of the cabin? If you happen to have any pictures i would love to see. thanks
