Well..... The ZL1 option was available in '69 so why not?

Since the car is not being painted, the thinking here is to stick with that theme and not paint the engine. #lessismore

Starting to pull it back apart to paint some of the parts.

Mounted the Dakota Digital modules.

Is the engine in the stock location or is it setback? Also what engine mounts are you using?

We used the Holley mounts. It is in the “stockish” location. Not as far back as some of the other cars. A little farther forward to make it easier for wiring and bellhousing bolts.

We have used this template since 2002. I’ve lost track of how many time Matt or myself have used it. If it isn’t broke no need to fix it.

Because I know the car will see track use we added a simple roll hoop. It is for a shoulder belt system for street use and a cross bar for 6 point belts for track use.
