It will loud-up a bit after hammering on it a while. Supercharging speeds up the process so you might have to throttle-up more often ;-)

I知 an old development engineer that is what I have done most of my life. This is part of the normal development process. We moved way off the recipe and it turned out different. No big deal. I値l try another set of mufflers and if I don稚 like them we will try another.

When I first built the 88 Blazer it had a mild cam in it. Everyone loved the loopy idle. I did not. I swapped it and love it.

It is a process and my tastes have shifted over the years. The car is fantastic and with a few small tweaks I値l like it better.

What didn't you like about the power steering, Mark? I'm considering the Holley mid mount setup for my C10. It's just a cruiser and not a performer at all.

Glad you were able to get the car out this year and enjoy it some before the snow sets in. Enjoy the tweaking!

Being able to hold conversations on the highway cruising without raising my voice, but coming to life under hard acceleration with authority define the perfect balance for a pro touring car IMHO. Of course I wouldn't want someone to think it's an EV idling at a stop light either

I have used the Holley mid-mount on a few builds with no issues, works great. The rumor is they switched the Holley power steering pump supplier to some Chinese knockoff. I ordered a Delphi GM pump from Turn One. We are installing that this week. I値l let you know if that fixes the noise issue and the lack of assist at idle.

Mark, can you please share the part number for the Delphi GM pump? Thanks in advance.

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see which clutch you used in this build - is it the Tilton dual disc here too?

I remember you saying you were very happy with the factory setup with that power level. If that's what you had in Camaro X I agree, great feel.
