Default Brake Booster Help

Hello, I purchased a Dual Diaphragm, 7 in. Brake Booster for my 72 Chevelle. And realized when I got home that it has studs coming out of the booster which would go into the firewall. Ofcourse on my firewall there are studs coming out of the firewall which my existing brake booster slides over and bolts up to.

I was thinking of cutting the studs off of the firewall, making a plate to go on the back side of the firewall under the dash which I can bolt then new booster to.

Am i making this to hard ? Anyone have a suggestion on the best way to make this work???

thank you for any help
Chris

Default

You need the adapter brackets for your application. They bolt between the booster and the firewall
