Default 305/35/18

Hello
I have a 68 chevelle, with a Hotchkis rear suspension
And I have 2 questions
1. will a 18X10 wheel with Nitto 305/35/18 tire fit under a chevelle?
2. How much space is needed on each side of the wheel to keep it from rubbing the wheel wellls. The side to side travel?

Thanks In advanced
Rob

Hi!

I have a ´67 Chevelle that I recently bought a new set of wheels for.
I could fit a 18" x 10" wheel on it with a 285/35-18 tire, so I think you could do it ´cause I´m not close to rub.

Alex

Your best bet is about a 6" backspace with that much tire. I usually suggest at least a .625" clearance to the inside and a .375" clearance to the outside.
