Thanks!! The motor is already done. Shaver Racing built it. It's a reworked 502, Pro Topline heads, Hogan Intake, EFI etc.. It's very docile compared to some on this site. Motor made 586 HP & 614 ft lbs torque. I included a few pics of the motor & wheels I'm running.

As far as paint, it will be a wine color on the main body & nickel color on the back and roof. Hence the name Nickelback.

Thanks again-
Brent

Thanks again guys for the kind words!!

Stuart, I was looking at your post..Your # of posts were 666 on the day of 06/06/06. I hope you didn't jinx me!!

Rodger, as far as the headers. Mark @ Performance Welding in Foresthill will be doing the headers & exhaust. He is only 20 mins away from me. You do some killer work. I saw the headers you built for a guy with a 32 Roadster, Mike Perry, I think that's his name.. My buddy is putting the car together for him. You guys do some killer work.

Lt1 Chevelle, as far as the headers, not sure how modified your Uncle's 57 is going to be, but he may find a set that will bolt right in. The chassis I have is custom built. There are alot of factors as to why I need a custom set done. Once I get it back I'll post some pics with the body off the chassis that will show what had to be done.

Hey Brent, good to see the car's progressing. I have been checking your site but did not see much updates... Now I know why. It is going to be a beautiful car. Good luck on the progress. Now that I'm local maybe I'll stop by sometime.

Default lookin good

Man that thing is lookin good. Should be an awesome ride. What are you running for the custom chassis?
I only asked about the headers because they are a fun project but a total labor of love, So if your gonna labor on the headers it might as well be on a bad ass car. And not to many people do it and do it with a style and function.

I have a few guys wanting a tube chassis for a 55-57 like I have under my truck with some C6 stuff. So I'm wondering want the custom stuff looks like.

Thanks
