ok, windows are in, many thanks to Frank and Lisa at GP Superstore for the great pricing and service.
I order a classic update wiring harness from American Autowire (again through Frank!) which will be here Friday. It will be much easier to start from scratch than try to splice all my new systems into the other harness that's currently in the car. So in the mean time, I mounted my BigStuff 3 ecu in the glove box along with the trans controller (switching trans controllers in a couple weeks, but I'll fill you in on that when it happens).
I ran the BS3 harness through the firewall and have cut to length and terminated all the sensors. Am in the process now of trying to hide the wiring as much as is reasonably possible for a clean look.
I also ditched the dual Bosch fuel pumps. I love the idea of them, running one all the time with the second coming on with boost, but there's just no way to neatly plumb them in the limited room under the car. No matter how I tried there were too many loops, etc. in the system to fit in the required width I had to work with. So I had a new Aeromotive pump, regulator, and pump controller in my shop, and decided to go this way. I regulate the fuel at the back of the car to keep the hot fuel from being bypassed to the tank. Running the fuel through the rails before being bypassed to the tank has caused many issues on long drives like Power Tour, and being that this car is going this year I do not want any issues. And their pump controller slows the pump down during idle and cruise areas, so that further keeps the fuel temps down, and increases the pump life.
