sounds really cool

i gotta admit i'm a little surprised that you kept the stock tubs even after doing the new quarter panels. would it have been significantly more work?

The inners were in really good shape except for one area on pass side. It is right much work to mini-tub. Approx ~35-40 hrs which would have pushed me way over my budget, not to mention the other suspension costs that balloon with mini-tubs. I would have wanted quadra link, new rearend, etc. You guys know how it works.

When I started to run low on funds I ask the wife if she wouldn't mind getting a second job. Man that went over like a lead ballon.

Car is looking very good Jay. Dan is doing a great job on it. He must be a man with great skill to work for Troy and DSE. Very good!

Thanks man! Dan is very skilled. Just look at some of the cars he has worked on at Rad Rides and DSE. Sickfish & Chicayne are some aweome cars that he has put his craftmanship on.

Dan wanted to do some old school stuff, so he decided to lead the quarter to roof seam like GM did. This is a lost art.

Leading qtr to roof seams:

Car back home...time for me to get to work now!
