i appreciate the comments guys. im pretty sure im gunna run it like this for awhile, and just do some simple upgrades.

so far i have plans for some ridetech tube arms and shockwaves for the front, and either a ridetech airride controller, or an accuair setup, not sold on either one yet.

keep the comments coming, good or bad, it keeps me motivated!

so time for an update? i think so.

well since my last update: my wife and i got married in november( we actually moved into our house in august) and have since been busy with being a domesticated husband(ugh). but in all honesty, ive been spending alot of time with her getting moved in, and working on the house projects.
taught myself to drywall and finished the garage, so when the car is ready to come home (im hoping in a few weeeks) itll have a nice place to sleep.

besides that and the car which you'll see in a moment, ive been playing with nitro:

this is nitro, we got him in february and hes 8 months now, pure bread doberman( we decided against cropping his ears). hes a lot of work, but hes really an excellent dog.

ok now for the good stuff.

my first cold air setup i built, was too low. i could not get the car to idle decent with it on the carb and decided to build a new one, with more taste, and it cured the problem. i didnt have enough room between the roof of the intake and the carb and mustve made turbulence and choked it off. now thats fixed. i molded the new one out of fiberglass.

been trying to get all the interior on the car done as well. took a few trys but i finally built some door panels that suit me, only thing i wanna do yet is pull the inserts out and sew some diamonds in them to go with the rest of the interior. the arm rests i got from fesler on there black friday sale and the cranks are from lokar( may change them to billet specialties later) i made a new dash panel out of fiberglass and wrapped it in vinyl instead of the wood attempt i had earlier, it just fits better, also cleaned up the wirings on the gauges as well. i started puttin the stereo togther, built a box for my two 15 inch re subs, and i built mini boxes for all my component speakers as well. i also picked up a 6.5 inch kenwood dvd/cd/nav/ head unit for it as well. ill try and get more pictures this weekend and get them up, but for now i thought id bring you all back up to speed.

cute dog. That's the first doberman I have seen. I've only ever seen the pinchers with cropped ears. Good luck with the car. Love the name.

ITS FINALLY ON THE ROAD!

its not totally finished, but i could really care less anymore. i got everything functioning for inspection, door panels finished, carb tuned up and ive made it to three shows so far this year.

i still gotta finish the headliner and put all that trim that goes with it, buy and install the window cranks (swore i had them somewhere but i guess those were the old set) i have to make a new carburetor hat too, i made the current one too low in hoping of getting a flatter hood on, but neither worked out, and it chokes the engine out. so at the moment i cruise with a regular air cleaner on and put the other on at shows. maybe ill stumble upon some money and go efi with a fabricated manifold to fix that too( wishful thinking)

I also have hubs and brackets to put 14 z06 rotors on the car, trying to find some used calipers if anybody has any, let me know! theyre pretty spendy new from a dealer. also, what are you guys running for rotors? i know the factory zo6 rotors rust up, whose rotors wont rust?

enough bla blah... heres how she looks at the moment.
