BTW..... Are you and Anthony going into your second decade on the build?? Just giving you both crap here.... as I'm the first one to tell anyone that listens - "life is what happens when you're busy making other plans". So dang true!

Eric, that's great news. Glad to see things are improving for you, and I really like your budget minded but very well thought out plans for the car.

Thanks! I would love to go all out on the parts list, but in reality I just don't need to. I am confident I can build a great performer that also looks good for a reasonable amount.

Every time you think about high dollar builds and parts -- just ask yourself "what would Mary and David Pozzi do?" --- because they kicked every 100K+ cars butt with a nice simple small block and leaf springs.... in a simple straight forward car. Mind you -- driving skill is the winner there every time -- but nonetheless -- it was done in a nice, simple, well sorted, relatively inexpensive car.

Bingo! Her car and the results she has had with it (before the make over) were a big part of why I decided to go this route. Well that AND a serious lack in the budget area. Lol!
