Getting very close to driving. Been finishing up a lot of odds and ends. The throttle cable was a bugger with floor hinged pedals but I got the geometry figured out and it works now. I had been hoping to not run an IAC but it had issues stalling out without one. With the IAC and some help from my friend at Holley EFI, it now runs like it should. The Ford pwm IAC looked terribly out of place front and center on the engine so I remote mounted it to the frame rail. Just needs a very few things finished up and a pre-flight inspection before it hits the road. Hopefully this weekend.

Well, there's that out of the way. I ended up putting about 50 miles on it and hanging out with friends in town last night. Got home at 5 in the morning. I'm pretty happy with it so far!

Pictures from yesterday/last night. The black SRT8 has a pretty wicked supercharged build, over twice the power I'm hoping to make. Made for a heck of a neat shot by pure luck, it's the first time I've ever seen it.

Awesome! Congrats on getting it running and being able to enjoy it this weekend. You're right. That shot of your Jeep and the SRT8 is a great picture.

Really cool build so far! Are you going to put a good blow-of valve on the inlet side of the t-body? Rear end gear ratio( I may have missed it if posted already).

Thanks guys! And d'oh, I forgot to post the pictures of the engine bay in running condition. It's got a JGS 50mm blow off valve. I was waiting until I had some of the other specifics nailed down before I locked in final placement. Rear gear is a 3.64, it's a NASCAR take-out center section with Ron Sutton's light springs in the locker.

Also got caught by a friend cruising around today.

So cool! Glad to see it's finally moving under it's own power and you are out enjoying it.

Thank you Lance! It's been great following your build and seeing how much it's progressed as you've refined it. I hope I can get this thing half as dialed as yours.

Took a video of cruising through town this weekend.

Had a friend over with his mint '91 Grand Wagoneer Final Edition in Hunter Green.

Got a little over 1000 miles on it since I got the electronic speedo working two weeks ago. Probably 1300ish miles total so far. Been driving it all over the place. Cruised down to a show in Three Oaks (115 miles one way) this Saturday, hit Indiana for dinner, cruised up the lakeshore to Holland and met up with some friends, then hit the beach. 290 miles just on that trip. Loving it. Aside from fixing a couple minor leaks and such, it's been flawless so far.
