Default Bob..

And Mr. Johnson, we'd also welcome the opportunity to shoot your fantastic car at the event if you're up for it. The car is too cool!

I just got my copy a couple days ago , and all I can say is "MORE PAGES!!!" . Every time I see your Cuda I love it even more. I would buy a Buildbook on it, if they were to make one, the instant it became available . I wish I was able to make it down to the Year One Experiance , I bet hearing that thing run is an experiance in itself .

I agree. The new guys stuff is light years ahead of Barris' work. Heck there were "black pipe" gas fittings on the Batmobile painted flourescent Orange hanging out the back in plain view. Ole George looks like he died and just plain ole forgot to fall over. Old School indeed.

the top speed shootout must be different than the normal SSC race, because to be able to run "unlimitied" youmust have allready competed in lower classes for 3 previous races(i think)

Thanks a lot.. I sent you an email. Are you going to be shooting in the May and Sept events? I was disappointed that they are not going to be running the Z2Z in May. Z-100-Z is not that interesting to us.. the 1 mile acceleration test at over 7,000 ft. is not that exciting without braking involved. I cannot risk the Cuda in the Silver State 90 mile run..too many bad things can happen

You do have to run like 135....then you can run 150...then you can run 175.. then you can haul as*. You have to qualify at lower speeds before you can go faster..As I understand it, you could theoretically do it all in one day..in fact in 4 passes..I ran 140 (5 miles past the legal speed limit w/o a roll bar) in my Rambler Wagon. I hit the 140 about 1/2 track and pedaled it to the eyes.. they weren't too happy with me for going over..Little AMC Motored Wagon would do 150 with ease..it'd snap your neck at 135 when you hit it. I was told I had to run 150...then 175..then try to run 200 plus if I could on April 1 with the Cuda...

nice thing about running at Maxton, you can use your speeds over here at Bonneville..You can go straight to the long track if you've run fast enough over here. Same at Muroc

got to give the ol Boy credit..he's still hustling at his age..I don't think those old guys like he and Shelby put much money back..they're still hustling..unless they're doing it for the fun of it

That was your Woodie? Cool, I did see it but was lookin for you also. We both know the Lewellyns in Douglasville (we spoke at SEMA when you were rollin' the Cuda out the door trying to make the curve). By the way got my PHR- what a car and Ito is a heck of a designer. Modern day Larry Shinoda.
