10 posts or 10,000...my comment remains the same. I'm not always a fan of Troy's stylistic choices, but the actual work performed is far from "nominal".

Default Fab work and sema

Well back from Sema and it was awesome! Saw a lot of cars there and I really really liked the camaro from KD hotrods. Looked absolutely wicked. Anyway, back to this thread.

We appreciate the comments, even if some are constructive criticism. Some people like certain designs and pick a builder based on them. We chose Troy because he builds cars you can really drive and approaches a build on a more engineering level.
As far as the amount of fab work into the car...there is a ton of it. The whole tail light section was completely cut and redone, everything under the lights are all scratch built. The front end is the same way. Even the detroit speed parts (half of their catologue) that were bought were cut up in places to make stuff fit better. Its not like a riddler car, the 37 or the 40 ford, where whole fenders are custom made. But whats great about this car is that you can buy a lot of the stuff that we are using, and put it on your nova.
And the trunk has made it to bodywork!

Just a couple of quick comments (post 11) Everybody does have opinions --- Troy is very talented ---- And if most of you guys would concentrate on your cars and fab skills instead of counting posts (11 if your not counting) maybe you could be working on your car and/or tuning up your fab skills, if any. This is what I don't like about these forums, people focus more on whats on their computer than whats in their garage, sad-----
Have a great weekend

For those of you who have either built or have had their car built. Food for thought: In my opinion when someone criticizes my work, in that very second my thoughts "what the heck does he/she know". Then I take a step back, take in a couple deep breaths, gather my pride and take another look at what was criticized, then corrected if needed. At times the builder see's things in a different perspective then QT public.
For me, that's what makes a great build.

Humm, I wonder if that was the thought process back in the 50's. Those were some really radical ideas.

Troy does make some really nice vehicles. Three is no way anyone can take that away from him.
One day I hope to as popular as him. Plus, have some of his accounts

Thumbs up Troy's a Ruler ....

I was at AAPEX this year and went over and finally got to meet Troy and a few of his team members, what a bunch of nice down to earth, humble and talented individuals.

Troy and I visited for about 30 minutes while he was signing posters and getting pictures taken with fans, talked quite a bit about "Notorious" and he seemed really jazzed about the outcome of this ride,me too by the way!

I have wanted to meet him for several years and finally got the chance, the year the ebay mustang was auctioned off, I couldnt get near him he was so busy talking to fans, so this year was truly my highlight of the show to finally get to meet and to talk Nova's with Troy, what a real nice guy, with a good sense of humor too!

Yes I am a Rad Rides fan and have been since his Chevelle was in Hot Rod several years ago,why do I like there stuff so much?they are very creative, innovative and usually start a trend rather then copy one.

1st - Alright guys, I guess nobody likes to hear any type of opinions. I really don't know why I even bother throwing my 2 cents out there, seems like most of you can't handle it.
2nd - I am done with this forum, too many closed minds
3rd - once again, I have known Troy longer than all you guys ( and kids) put together, so watch it,I am on track, and don't call me bud , paul
