I'm having them do a front and rear end alignment. SAR "did it" - but I don't trust anything MECHANICALLY that they do/did. The rear twin coil overs touch the half shafts once in awhile - so they'll take a look at spacing/spacers... It's not an issue - but I had much larger half shafts built - so that created the issue.
Not sure how long it will take them - they're very busy - and they really don't do "repair work" but were willing to take this on... so it will just be done when it's done.
I've always been 100% impressed with their shop - and the way they treat customers. This explains why so many people have had several cars built there. Here's a comparison.... Brizio is happy to see you - and happy to have you tour the shop and work with you.... SAR's attitude is that you're lucky that they acknowledge you.... Which explains why they have few repeat customers and very little work in the shop. Brizio is slammed with work. HUGE difference!
Rodders Journal just did a piece on ANOTHER Eric Clapton car... they've built him several... and the article shows the car in bare metal. It's now painted and is in the area where they do final assembly. It's super kool. There were 4 cars in the final assembly area... and all were just WOW.
Funny how clean the shop is -- they don't do bodywork... no bondo dust flying around - no primer in the air... just metal.
I'm so po'd at myself for having made such a bad choice having SAR build the car - when this (Brizio) was my first pick to start with... but I kinda felt sorry for SAR having so little work, and felt it was closer to me, and blah blah blah.
