To be totally truthful, I'm not sure if I'm making this car better or worse. I'm half thinking of changing the body line down the center of the car.

Funny you should say that, I'm just figuring the mounts out right now which I will mount behind the quarter panels while they are off.

Great!

With the wheelbase extension the visual is "pinched" just a little between the bumper and wheelwell, not bad though and many would never notice unless in a side by side comparison. The wing may create visual balance and with less levered weight behind the rear axles the additional downforce might be appreciated. Besides my redneck logic the right wing and uprights could be a visual homerun with the current lines of the car..........and maybe a rear diffuser panel?

Since we are all throwing out design ideas I think it would be sweet if your raked the rear lower part of your quarter to match the height of your rocker.

You guys do realize that the whole lower part of the quarter is an old Amx hood (because I wanted it to be the same color)that I cut up and bent over my knee, took seriously 2 minutes. Its held on with 1 zip screw, just so I could get an idea of what it would look like. The bottom of the quarter will be raked, the body lines will get cleaned up, and it will actually be tight to the sheet metal.

The only thing I think I'm really worried about is the front flare compared to the rear. It seems the long quarter really hid the amount of bulge that's there. There will be no hiding the front, big American bulges all the way.
Once I line the front end up this week, and get the camber where it needs to be the problem in the front will be seriously exaggerated. I'll get it, but hope it doesn't come off looking too cheesy.

We do now! Then why didn't you just make 5-6" taller and you'd already have the end plates for the diffuser!

You're as experimental as a kid with craft paper and a glue stick, I like that.

I had no idea. I thought you somehow put the quarter back together. I wasn't sure

Because of how low the tank is, and where the exhaust will exit, I don't think I have the physical space for a rear diffuser. Both pipes will exit out the passenger side of the rear splash pan, with kind of a boom tube. The drivers side will have a belly pan on it, but I think the tank is just too low to come up with any kind of diffuser(they are cool though).

On the wing, while the quarters are off I plan on installing mounting plated that mount on the inside of the sail panel that goes down the quarter near the trunk lid.
