Mark,

A couple of quick questions about that intake setup...

What throttle body is that?

Is the air cleaner base bolted between the throttle body and intake for mounting?

And finally, does it clear the fuel rails without a spacer?

I used that same intake manifold and fuel rails, and I struggled with making a Trans Am shaker base fit. Wish I had thought of this idea. Very slick! I do prefer a cable connection between the throttle pedal and TB though - not a big fan of the DBW setups in the cars I have driven. Presumably with a good tuner it shouldn't be an issue though.

The 90 mm throttle body is off a LS3/7.

The DBW set up allows cruise control, tunable throttle progression, no linkage and no idle air control motor.

With some tuning it feels good, or I’m used to it.
I also hate the feel of cables and solid mechanical linkage is problematic.

The new LT torque base engine cals do have poor throttle response. It can be calibrated to be better but not as good as the PFI cals.

Mark

Filled a few things on the firewall. We are using Vintage Air so no need for blower motor hole.

Moved the driver side quarter panel back to the stockish location. It was pushed out 3/4 of an inch when is was a drag car. Looks like a sled hammer deal. Matt fixed it.

I am very interested in the transmission crossmember. You can see the tabs poking through the floor, and the mount itself... Can you shed light on what the topside looks like? I would love to get ideas for my own car.

Beautiful build as always !!!

We have done this trans mount before on 4 Camaros. No issues so far. Makes a super clean set up.
