Well that's a huge bummer. Either way - hope it's coming together!

We also have the popular low cost 'guest' lurking option.

I kind of wondered if he gave up on the car after everything that's happened. It's a shame. I really expected Tony's car to be a player in the Pro-Touring scene after it was redone.

Default Update!!!!!

Hi Guys! It's been a long time since I update this thread. Mostly because I haven't had anything to really show. LOL

Since the last update my life has changed a bit. A few years ago I decided it was time to start my own construction business. I've been in the trades for over 20 years at this point and was ready to roll the dice with my own shop. This has taken ALL my time and ALL my resources. After a few hard years I'm finally getting to the point that I have some free time...not a lot but I will take what I can get! 14 hour days 7 days a week got really old. You small business owners know what I'm talking about!

Obviously the Camaro had to sit in the corner while I built up the business and spent time with my family. It's all about balance and usually something has to wait. So there ya go, my last few years in nut shell.

Moving forward I have been busy working on the car as of late! I came up with a final plan of attack and put it into action. I decided to start at the front as it was going to take the most effort to get all the parts to fit well. Boy was I right! Many many days spent on the front of the car! I purchased a new valance, grill w/trim, headlight buckets, headlight mounts and bezels. Getting all these new parts to fit OE and Repop panels was a job. I'm very happy to say everything 'fits' now.

Next up was the hood. I had problems getting the hood open when it came back home so I knew I needed to address that before I got any further. I just couldn't get the latch to work so I ordered a new one and all is good now! I added my DSE SS hood latch kit and it's all fancy looking now.

With that done I could finalize the fit of the hood. Everything looked great except the hood to cowl panel on the driver's side. So after a lot of planning I decided to get to work on it. All good now!

This weekend I worked on door gaps. They were a little tight in spots at the door to quarter. The bottom and fender gaps are ok. So I got to work on them. I'm pleased with them now.
